Four Points by Sheraton Quito, as its name implies, is located in the capital city of Quito. At almost two miles above sea level and only a couple miles from the equator, Quito's geographic location has earned it the moniker "the city bathed by perpendicular sunlight." The most oustanding and representative samples of art, folklore, and ecuadorian culture can be found concentrated in its several churches, convents, and museums. The northern region of the Quito provides a different scene; this is the modern city. Tall buildings, shopping malls, stores, banks, and nicely apppointed hotels offer vacationers additional experiences and attractions.
