Lake Chelan is a narrow, 55-mile-long lake in Chelan County, northern Washington state, U.S. It is the largest natural lake in Washington state.

The name Chelan is a Salish Indian word Tsi - Laan, meaning deep water. Fed by streams from the Cascade Range, Lake Chelan has maximum depth of 1,486 ft (453 m) (though some sources cite 1,420 feet), making it the third deepest lake in the country and the 25th deepest in the world.

Peterson's Waterfront

As the name promises, Peterson's Waterfront Resort is located at the water's edge on the southern tip of Lake Chelan. Water sports are the number-one pastime during summer. Boats and other equipment can be rented through local marinas. For more water fun, visit Slidewaters Amusement Park, only two miles away. The resort is within one mile of an 18-hole championship golf course. In winter, you'll find skiing at Echo Valley, only eight miles from the resort, or Mission Ridge, about an hour's drive away. Also nearby are 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

WorldMark Lake Chelan is located on the north shore of Lake Chelan. The resort is spread out over 18 acres, with 900 feet of water frontage. Amenities include a fitness room, five tennis courts, and courts for pickleball, volleyball, basketball, and indoor racquetball. Also available on-site are a hot tub, five swimming pools, a horseshoe pit, children's play area, family barbecue area, private boat launch, day-use dock, rental buoys, and boat and jet ski rentals.
